Mekdela Daniel (b. 1999) is a Ethiopian-American creator based in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Howard University with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, where she built a foundation in brand storytelling, audience engagement, and cultural insight.

She currently supports the Inclusive Content and Engagement team at National Geographic, working at the intersection of brand strategy, creative production, and social-first storytelling-helping shape content that is culturally resonant, visually compelling, and built for impact across platforms.
